Discipleship Groups

You're not just learning about God—you're learning to follow Him more closely in everyday life.

Discipleship groups are small, intentional gatherings of 2–3 people who commit to 10-12 weeks of growing deeper in their faith together. Each week, you’ll walk through daily Bible reading, journaling, Scripture memorization, life application, and authentic accountability.

These groups are valuable because they provide a safe and consistent space to be known, encouraged, and challenged. You’re not just learning about God—you’re learning to follow Him more closely in everyday life. With honest conversations, prayer, and shared commitment, discipleship groups help you build spiritual habits that last and friendships that strengthen your walk with Jesus.

Discipleship Groups Q&A

Learn more about Discipleship Groups and what you can expect in the process!

Who can join a Discipleship Group?

D-Groups are designed for believers who desire to grow deeper in their walk with Christ! Groups are gender specific so we encourage ladies to disciple ladies and men to disciple men!

How long is the commitment?

The commitment for a discipleship group typically lasts 10-12 weeks. During this time, you'll dive into God’s Word, build meaningful relationships, and grow in your faith. But the commitment doesn’t end there. Once your group finishes, the goal is for each participant to lead a new discipleship group, continuing the cycle of growth and multiplication. This is the heart of discipleship: as we grow, we also help others grow, creating a ripple effect that expands the impact of Christ’s love and truth.

What do you do in a D-Group?

In a discipleship group, you commit to daily Bible reading and scripture memory, helping to internalize God’s Word and apply it to your life. You’ll also focus on life application, learning how to live out biblical principles in your daily walk. The group provides accountability and support, encouraging one another to grow and stay faithful. Prayer is a central part of the experience, both individually and as a group. Throughout the process, you’ll also learn the core principles of being a disciple—obedience, love, service, and mission—as you follow Christ together.

When do Discipleship Groups happen?

We typically promote them at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. But in truth, they happen year-round. We know life is busy, and our leaders find ways to lead groups during all seasons of life!

How do I join a group?

Our leaders are trained to ask others to walk through the process. However, if no one has asked you yet, you can contact the church office, and we will set you up with a D-Group!
